Marcasite earrings are silver earrings with small pieces of Pyrite which are a metallic gold in colour.  Pyrite and sterling silver make an excellent combination as the contrast between the 2 materials is quite striking as you can see in the image below.

1. Store your marcasite earrings in an air tight container to help prevent tarnishing.
